Embroidery classes are run by the Guild in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Everyone aged over 18 is welcome – beginners or experienced embroiderers alike. You don’t have to be a Guild member. The projects are easy and fun with Guild members there to help you and provide a way of developing your enjoyment of embroidery in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Where and When?
Upstairs room of our heritage-listed building at 149 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley. The front door has a bell. Monthly on a Sunday between 1 pm and 4 pm. Please arrive at 12.30 pm to sign in.
Bookings?
Bookings are essential and classes must be paid in advance, as our numbers are limited to 10 students to ensure social distancing is practised. There is a booking cut-off date. Payment is by EFT and no cash payments on the day. Please include the Class code. Download and complete the Class Registration Form from the Guild’s website and forward to: classes@embroiderersguildqld.org.au

How to get there?
Brunswick Street train station is a 5-minute walk away. Bus routes 370, 375 and 379 leave Stop 17 in Adelaide Street – get off at Stop 5 – outside the Guild building. Phone Translink on 13 12 30 for Sunday details. Parking is available in Warry, Kennigo and Love streets (behind the Guild) and is free on Sundays.
