Class with Paula Pugh
TWO DAY CLASS:
Saturday 23 May and Saturday 30 May
9.30 am to 3.00 pm
Please bring the following items to the class:
- 10 in / 25 cm hoop or frame
- Usual sewing kit, including sharp embroidery scissors
The class will cover:
- A variety of needlepoint stitches that can be used on canvas.
- Learning how to go from the oblique to the square
- Learning how to construct a biscornu
The kit will include all necessary threads, tapestry needle and a 20 cm square of canvas prepared for stitching.

There are 4 steps at the entrance to the building and the ground floor area, as a result, wheelchair access is difficult and not recommended. Classes are usually held in the upstairs room which can only be accessed via the stairs.
Getting Here
- Free parking is available on Saturday and Sunday in Warry, Kennigo and Love Streets (behind the Guild).
- Fortitude Valley train station is a 5-minute walk away (exit via Brunswick Street).
- Numerous bus routes service Fortitude Valley. The closest stop, adjacent to the Guild building, is Brunswick Street at St Pauls Terrace, stop 5.

The Guild accepts no responsibility for difficulties with, or damage to your equipment.
Cancellation Policy
If a class is cancelled by the Guild all fees paid will be refunded. No refunds will be given for cancellations within two weeks of the class date. If more than two weeksโ notice is given, a refund will be offered, less $20 administration fee. Payment for kits will not be refunded but, if already purchased, the kit can be collected from the Guild rooms.
