Class with Deborah Love
Using traditional Deerfield blue colours on white linen, this little bird stands among the flowers and stems. Can be finished with tassels and beads as pictured (not included in the kit or class).
Please bring the following items to the class:
- Normal embroidery tools
Needles and thread will be included in the kit but, if you wish to finish the pincushion as per the picture
you will need these additional items:
- 4 skeins DMC #794 for tassels
- Piece of cardboard for tasselsย ย 10 cm x 4 cm
- White beads (1.8 mm seed beads), beading needle and thread
- Filling for pin cushion

There are 4 steps at the entrance to the building and the ground floor area, as a result, wheelchair access is difficult and not recommended. Classes are usually held in the upstairs room which can only be accessed via the stairs.
Getting Here
- Free parking is available on Saturday and Sunday in Warry, Kennigo and Love Streets (behind the Guild).
- Fortitude Valley train station is a 5-minute walk away (exit via Brunswick Street).
- Numerous bus routes service Fortitude Valley. The closest stop, adjacent to the Guild building, is Brunswick Street at St Pauls Terrace, stop 5.

The Guild accepts no responsibility for difficulties with, or damage to your equipment.
Cancellation Policy
If a class is cancelled by the Guild all fees paid will be refunded. No refunds will be given for cancellations within two weeks of the class date. If more than two weeksโ notice is given, a refund will be offered, less $20 administration fee. Payment for kits will not be refunded but, if already purchased, the kit can be collected from the Guild rooms.
