Members of the Embroiderers’ Guild Queensland are invited to the Annual General Meeting on Saturday 19 September 2026 at 1:30pm in the Guild Rooms.
At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:
โข find out about the Guildโs operations and finances
โข ask questions about the operations and finances of the Guild
โข speak about any items on the agenda
โข vote on any resolutions proposed.
These meetings are an opportunity for the membership to receive updates from the key appointments within the Guild.

There are 4 steps at the entrance to the building and the ground floor area, as a result, wheelchair access is difficult and not recommended. Classes are usually held in the upstairs room which can only be accessed via the stairs.
Getting Here
- Free parking is available on Saturday and Sunday in Warry, Kennigo and Love Streets (behind the Guild).
- Fortitude Valley train station is a 5-minute walk away (exit via Brunswick Street).
- Numerous bus routes service Fortitude Valley. The closest stop, adjacent to the Guild building, is Brunswick Street at St Pauls Terrace, stop 5.

The Guild accepts no responsibility for difficulties with, or damage to your equipment.
Cancellation Policy
If a class is cancelled by the Guild all fees paid will be refunded. No refunds will be given for cancellations within two weeks of the class date. If more than two weeksโ notice is given, a refund will be offered, less $20 administration fee. Payment for kits will not be refunded but, if already purchased, the kit can be collected from the Guild rooms.
